If I hadn’t already set up my family’s summer swap I would jump for this one! Aix in Southern France has a magic quality. It was home to Paul Cezanne, father of Modern painting. It is here in Aix, where he immortalized one of his favorite paint objects: Mont Saint-Victoire. Also a very popular place for walking and climbing, several routes lead to the majestic mountain. On top, the wanderer finds a 17th century priory and the cross of Provence, from where there is a magnificent panoramic view of Provence’s mountains and the rolling plains of the Aix area.
Marseille, the Cote d’Azur and Camargue are also near.
What are you waiting for?

Can you think of any acceptable reason why to cancel an arranged home exchange last minute? I can think of two: Serious illness or death in the family or of a close person. All others seem to be avoidable with good planning.
It is a very difficult situation when your home exchange partner cancels the trip in the final preparation stages. This just happened to Karen and her husband who own a luxury apartment in Shanghai. As a result, they are now franticly trying to find a place in Dorset and surrounds to make up for their missed home exchange deal. They said they would accept home exchange offers in Southern England and would go as far as Paris.
This is your chance to experience the New York of China! Thank you for forwarding this last minute offer two your interested friends.

Alexander and Heleen from The Hague in the Netherlands are enthusiastic new JewettStreet members. They are looking for a summer swap in Europe. Responding to their inquiries, most fellow members replied that their home exchange plans were already set for this summer. Experienced swappers know, “The early bird catches the worm”!
But considering how many new members we have without their summer swap in place yet, we decided to open up a Last Minute Corner on our website. If you would like us to post your own last minute offer, send a mail to Ursula.
Back to the The Hague offer. This is what Alexander and Heleen wrote to me: “We are pretty flexible for this summer. Preferably we would swap for 2 weeks, like the first 2 weeks of August (or a week earlier or later). As to the destination: as we are traveling with small children, we are looking for something not too far away, so we would be interested in countries like France, UK, Scandinavia, Italy, Switzerland or some other country close by (we are flexible!).”
If you are interested in this attractive The Hague offer, contact Alexander and Heleen via their listing which is Home-ID 2026.
If you are a visitor and interested in this home exchange offer, simply register for free and add your listing to the JewettStreet database for contact. Note, that this free offer will soon end.
